I'm Lizzie. I live in the Broads with my lovely family. I have a background in health and social care, which began in 1999. I am currently also a private carer alongside being a reflexologist. I love helping people and enhancing their lives.
I have had an interest in holistic therapy since the age of 16, and have been learning about the subject since. This includes learning about aromatherapy, crystals, herbalism, and Chinese medicine as a hobby.
I trained and qualified with Yve Holistic Training Norwich. This included gaining a level 3 diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. The course involved practical learning and assessments, theory work, 10 case studies and 100 hours of reflexology treatments.
I have already completed further CPD training and learning to develop my understanding when working with clients, and I will continue to do so.
I am fully insured.

I believe that reflexology is a powerful tool for promoting health and wellness. My philosophy is centred around the idea that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, and that reflexology can help to stimulate this natural healing process.

I am a qualified and fully insured foot reflexologist and a member of the Association of Reflexologists. I also hold diplomas in anatomy and physiology, beauty facials, and arm and leg massage.

Dr. William Fitzgerald

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that uses pressure points on the feet (sometimes ears, face or hands too) to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support the body's natural healing processes.

Reflexology has roots in ancient healing traditions dating back thousands of years. Evidence of therapies involving pressure applied to the feet and hands has been found in ancient Egypt, China, and India, where touch-based therapies were used to support health and wellbeing.
Modern reflexology began to take shape in the early 20th century through the work of Dr William Fitzgerald, who developed Zone Therapy - the idea that the body is divided into interconnected zones linked to the feet, hands, and ears. This work was later expanded by Eunice Ingham, who mapped the reflex points on the feet and helped establish reflexology as the practice we know today.
Today, reflexology is widely used around the world as a gentle, holistic therapy that promotes relaxation, balance, and overall wellbeing.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy based on the principle that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to different areas and systems of the body. By applying targeted pressure to these reflex points, reflexology aims to encourage balance, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.
Many clients choose reflexology as a way to step away from the demands of daily life and give their body and mind time to reset.

Reflexology is widely valued for its calming and restorative effects. Benefits may include:
*Deep relaxation and reduced stress
*Support in easing tension and promoting better sleep
*Encouragement of a sense of balance and wellbeing
*Help with reducing feelings of fatigue and mental overload
*Support for the body's natural healing processes
*Improved circulation and energy flow
*Dedicated time for self-care and reconnection
Every treatment is tailored to the individual, making each session a unique experience based on your needs at that moment.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, reflexology takes a holistic view of the body, recognising the connection between physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Many clients find regular sessions help them feel more grounded, centred, and better able to cope with everyday pressures.
Whether you are seeking relaxation, support during a stressful period, or simply time to nurture yourself, reflexology offers a peaceful space to restore balance.

A reflexology treatment usually makes you feel deeply relaxed. Clients remain fully clothed, removing only shoes and socks, while reclining comfortably during the session. I work both feet covering all reflex points with gentle pressure using grapeseed oil. Sometimes specific reflex points will be worked on more if required. Many people experience a profound sense of calm during and after treatment.
Before any treatment starts, we will complete a consultation form together, where I will listen and record your health and wellbeing concerns along with any medical history. This will all be kept strictly confidential and I keep all consultation forms in a locked and secure filing system. I will not share any of your personal information, other than if a time comes when I might need to share particular information with a healthcare professional.
Completing the consultation form takes about 15-20 minutes. Following this, I will ask you to remove your shoes and socks, and I will cleanse your feet. Then I will make you comfortable on my Lafuma reclining chair and record observations of your feet.
I will then apply grapeseed oil using effleurage, getting you used to my touch, improving your circulation, and promoting relaxation. I will begin with some very gentle healing holds and then move into the reflex points routine.
This is your time, and I wish for you to fully relax, let your worries float away, and enjoy!

Everyone is different. Some people feel energised but most people feel very calm and lightly sleepy both during and after treatment. The majority of my clients have reported sleeping extremely well at night after sessions. It has been reported that some people feel emotional or have odd sensations during treatment while their body adjusts.
You may feel tired after a reflexology treatment but in a good way. Please rest if you can and drink enough (e.g. water or herbal tea) to help your body flush any toxins through which may have been released.
You may notice some other sensations when you get home. This is a sign that your body is responding positively. However, if you are unsure of any symptoms, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I work on a mobile basis, so I bring treatments to you in the comfort of your own home. I am happy to accommodate weekend appointments with advance notice.
